All I Got Was Air

I went back to visit my yesterdays,
but I couldn’t find me there.

I reached out my hand to an old
love of mine but all I got was air.

I looked for my childhood friends
But couldn’t find them anywhere.

Perhaps it was all a dream I had.
Perhaps I was never there.
